RESPIRATORY ALLERGIES
Recurrent Cough, Cold, Tonsillitis
Followimg should be strictly avoided:
COLD & AERATED DRINKS:
Coke, Fanta, Frooti, Limca, Maaza, Pepsi etc. Fruit juices (Citrus Fruits) e.g.
Orange & Mousambi, Chilled water', Ice cream, Curd (dahi), Butter milk (lassi),
(Fresh sweet curd at room temperature csn be taken).
FRUITS
Grapes (Angoor), Lemon (Nimbu), Mangoes (Aam), Orange (Santra), Pineapple (Anannas).
pomegranate. (Anar), Water Melon (Tarbooz), Musk Melon (Kharbuja).
SOUR FOOD
Pickles (Achaar), Rasam, Sauce/Ketchup, Sambhat, Tomato Soup, Vinegar (Sirka), Water
Balls (Gole Gappa), Tamarind (Imli),
Asthma
Following should be avoided if it worsens the symptoms:
FRUITS
Banana (Kela), Guava(Amrud)
OILY & HEAVY FOOD
Burgers, Chips/Wafers, Choic bhature, Chocolates, Dry Fruits, Fried Food, Ham, Halwa,
Kheer, Milk Shake, Omelette. Pakora, Parantha. Pastries, Pizza, Puri, Samosa, Sweets
(Mithai), Vada.
STARCHY FOOD
Kadhi, Noodles, Rice, Sweet Corn. Soup, Urad Daal (Rice is permissible for those
whose staple diet is rice), Lobia, Rajma (Red beans), Junk food.
VEGETABLES
Beans. Colocasia (Arbi), Cucumber (Kheera), Lady finger (Bhindi), Potato (Aaloo),
Spinach (Saag). Sweet Potato (Shakarkand), Tomato (Raw), Tapioca, Radish (Muli).
